Casablanca 1959 Plus size unclassified dresses

I'm a practical girl with a classic sense of style and needed a dress to match. I purchased this Casablanca dress from Precious Memories bridal shop in Malden, MA. After trying on multiple dresses at several different stores, I knew this was the one. The gorgeous ruching, the graceful lines, the sleek silk. I loved the fact that the dress was elegant and sophisticated, yet simple. I didn't want any beading or lace so this dress was perfect because the pleated bodice and pick-ups in the skirt made me feel beautiful and made the dress stand out as special. I felt absolutely elegant in this dress during the intimate ceremony and vibrant reception - and importantly, comfortable! The bodice is structured so it stays up nicely and because there is no beading, the dress is lighter in weight than many other similarly full dresses. The dress is fully lined so the taffeta did not scratch my legs. Since there is no train and the bottom of the dress was just above the floor, there are no stains/damage to the bottom hem of the dress. The back has a zipper that is concealed by a row of tiny buttons; all of the buttons and button loops are in perfect condition. Getting married in this dress was a dream come true. I would be honored for this gorgeous gown to bring such joy to another bride.
