I like to describe it as elegant with a touch of whimsy.
I bought this dress at Privee Bride in Ghent (Norfolk, VA). I was planning on having my dress made and was out with a friend trying dresses on to see what I liked - I was not looking for THE DRESS. I almost didn't try this dress on because the pattern on the bottom seemed too bold to me, and I don't normally like anything floral, but I was surprised to discover upon trying it on that it didn't look "floral" at all. The bottom half of the dress is so graceful and gorgeous. I fell in love with it. I loved the silhouette it created. I loved the beading. I loved where it fell at my waist, and that it didn't make me feel fat.
I called my sister and asked her what I should do. I loved this dress, but it was a total departure from my original plan. "Is it light weight?" she asked. "Is it comfortable to sit in?" Yes! Yes! "Well, what do you think?" I couldn't have been more happy with this dress. The pictures turned out great.
