"This is a beautifully designed two-toned silky taffeta gown with a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. The gown is adorned with intricately beaded and embroidered appliques. The skirt consists of box pleats, gorgeous embroidery and a cathedral length train."  - From Casablanca Bridal

I love this dress. I had been on the search for "one" for almost a year when I found it! I felt so beautiful with the long train and beaded detail - like a classic princess. The two-toned design is settle and made me feel unique. I wore a full hooped slip to give that great bell shape, which was easy to maneuver. Along with the hoop slip, the box pleats allowed the dress to flow and hang so that those gorgeous beaded details could always be seen. Thought about adding pockets under the pleats and cap sleeves to the dress (tan lines from work that couldn’t even out before the big day), but didn't have time for the alternations. The A-line style was the perfect fit for my soft hour-glass shape. Admittedly, I wasn't (& still not) rocking 6-pack abs, but a nice soft lady layer that ruched bodice hid perfectly. The structured top and well-done alterations supported me so I could move & dance about without fear of toppling out. (See picture of the walk-in the room arm raise). The traditional bustle (was a single loop and button) held the train that still show that beautiful design. The bustle loop or the button fell off (easy fix to reattach) when I accidently tripped family member (too much champagne) while dancing. Ended up holding the train over my arm rest of the night, which wasn’t noticeable as the fabric was easy to manage and always seemed to stay put. The silky taffeta felt smooth and was right weight (not too hot) for our wedding in late June in the mountains of Colorado. It was the perfect dress that desreves another bride to make happy.
